Keeping you informed - Update on Christchurch

Signature’s Christchurch branch will be reopened from tomorrow following advice that it has not suffered any structural damage and is safe for normal operations to resume.

A skeleton staff will be available in Christchurch to assist our customers with service support and general questions.

As large parts of the city remain closed while emergency service efforts continue, there may some impact on our ability to service areas with technical and guard requirements. We do appreciate your patience while we, together with many other businesses and providers in Christchurch, work hard to restore operations to normal levels.

Signature’s national support teams in Auckland and Wellington continue to be available to support and assist all New Zealand customers with their security needs. Please call us on 0800 186 086 for any assistance.

Rest assured all monitoring services for New Zealand properties has been continuing uninterrupted wherever power and active telephone services have been in place. We will continue to work with our customers in Christchurch who have been impacted by the tragic circumstances and will keep you up to date with information over the coming period.

The team at Signature Security would like to extend our thoughts and wishes to all customers who have been affected by the latest earthquake in Christchurch. We are saddened by the images and reports of the devastation that is emerging from this tragic event.

We wanted to assure all our customers across New Zealand that your monitoring service is continuing uninterrupted and we have teams available in Auckland and Wellington to assist you with your enquiries. You can continue to contact us on 0800 186 086.

For our Christchurch customers, monitoring of your property will continue while there is an operating power source and telephone connection to your alarm system (your alarms back up batteries will provide support for a period of time if the electricity supply has been interrupted). As some areas of the city will be closed while emergency service efforts continue to assess and remedy the damage, there may be some impact to guard services and technical support teams. We will work with you if this affects your property or business.

Signature’s Christchurch office has been evacuated until we are confident it is structurally sound for our staff to return. Fortunately none of our team has been injured.
